Job Profile
Two full time job positions are open for Junior researchers to join the research team of the project Project TowArds Next GENeration Crops (TANGENC), reg. no. CZ.02.01.01/00/22_008/0004581 (Operational Programme Johannes Amos Comenius).
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Plant Sciences or in a related field of study reached by the start of job;
- strong theoretical background in plant molecular biology, physiology, genomics, genetics and chemistry;
- advanced skills in molecular biology and physiology methods, including omics analyses;
- practical experience in purification and analysis of natural compounds by hyphenated techniques is an advantage;
- practical experience in screening and phenotyping of plants is an advantage;
- practical experience with genetic transformation of plants is an advantage;
- experience in biostatistics and big data management is an advantage;
- experience in presenting scientific results and scientific writing;
- active communication in English (written and spoken);
- ability to work on assigned research activities and independently solve research tasks coordinated by a key/excellent researcher.
