The Institute of Molecular and Translational Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Palacký University in Olomouc offers a job for the position of bioinformatics. The successful candidate will participate in the processing of multiomic NGS data (WGS, WES, RNA-seq, single-cell), as well as data from proteomic and metabolomic analyses with the aim of bringing the possibilities of precision medicine closer to patients.

• The scope of the work is the analysis of various types of omics data obtained from patients and also from healthy individuals in cooperation with a team of bioinformaticians, expert scientists and medical researchers.
• This is an interesting job in the rapidly developing field of molecular medicine and genetics using unique technologies 

• University degree in natural sciences (informatics, bioinformatics, biomedical  engineering, genetics, molecular biology and so on)
• Knowledge of sequencing data analysis and processing, clinical data management required 
• Knowledge of command line, Linux OS, R/R-studio, BASH, databases, Python 
• Ability to implement new tools and pipelines for bioinformatics analysis 
• reliability, independence, diligence
• active knowledge of English
